Hey there, I'm Ashley!
I am going to work hard at whatever task is put in front of me. That’s pretty much all you need to know about me, but if you have a minute, I think you will find that I am worth getting to know.
Hi, I’m glad you are still here, I’m Ashley Parker, and I am on a mission to serve American agriculture and the western industry. I grew up in a small community, heavily influenced by agriculture, in Montana. While I was not directly involved with farming, I had my fair share of long days on the ranch and in the feedlot. At a young age, I started competing at youth rodeos and worked my way up to being a college rodeo athlete for New Mexico State University. I can attribute most of my redeeming qualities to my experiences on the ranch and in the arena.
Looking forward, my goals have adjusted now that I am not horseback every day. I want to build a connection between the families on the ranch and the urban families who don’t know where their food comes from. My agriculture communications education prepared me to share the stories of agriculturalists with the world through visually appealing designs and photos. My connections in the industry create a high level of trust. My experience building publications for the NMSU rodeo team reinforced the topics I learned in class. Lastly, my certifications in Abode Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop drive my work to a professional level.
That was a lot about me but if you are not tired of getting to know me yet… Here is my education, experience, and qualifications.
